| EMPFANGIn Dordogne, in the heart of Perigord, a mere 7 kms from Sarlat La Caneda, The Domaine Lacoste, peaceful and charming B & B, welcomes you all year round. Tucked on the heights of the village Carsac, (with its pretty little church, roman arched porch and roof slates, its beautiful water gardens) our top of the range well equipped 5 bedrooms are at your disposal for a warm and friendly stay. The heated infinity salt water pool and the Jacuzzi are at your disposal as well as private parking. Each bedroom receives free WiFi, tnt. Tv and is equipped with a kettle and Nespresso Coffee machine. Guests can enjoy Tea and Mineral water, Fragonard toiletries, bathrobes, Jet-Tongs and fans... You will be welcomed upon arrival by a tasty aperitif, the famous Peps 24 which you won't find anywhere else. Some evenings we'll offer our home cooked gourmet dinner with fresh local produce (reservation required). Shops and services are just 5 mns away on foot. Right by the house is the lovely 35 kms cycling trail. From the panoramic view, one can glimpse the Chateau de Montford. Among cliff hugging castles and medieval towns, close to prehistoric and archaeologic site (Grottes de Lascaux, Les Ezies...) we gladly welcome you to share this country, its mysteries, its regional produce, our passion for discovery and travel. All around the Domaine Lacoste, you will find a region steeped in history from the stone age through the Middle ages to the modern times, countless tourist sites, gardens, water sports and lazy river cruising on the Dordogne river on board a Gabarre, the typical flat bottomed boats. Cycling, hiking and horse riding are also popular and easily available. Closer to home, Sarlat, Pearl of the Black Perigord, the Cingle of Montfort (Montfort Meander), Roque-Gageac, the Bastide of Domme, the fortress of Beynac, the Castle of Fénelon, the markets of regional produce, The Dordogne valley, the Perigord Walnut Route...
