| GENERAL INFORMATIONHaving travelled around the world, it is in a charming village close to Bayonne that Veronique and Michel have decided to stay, on the border of the Basque Country with easy access to Spain. The Count d' Orx, son of Napoleon iii, was Mayor of Saint Andre de Seignanx from 1884 to 1910. With its long history, this rural district offers curiosities such as: the 16th century castle of Hitau; the castle of Lalanne with its 14th century wine-cellars; the castle of Castets, a middle-class house where the Count used to live, overhanging the Marsh of Orx, or the healer fountain of Gahinus and the lake of Lamoulasse.
